Queensland!!!

I could write pages and pages on this holiday! It was so much fun! But don't worry, I'm not going to. I'm just gonna give you pages and pages of photos with the occasional few words :-)

Sun!
Wet'n'Wild
The eight racer. A ton of fun cause we can all do it at once! :-)

Spa. :-) Pretty self explanitry

The Black hole. A twisted slide which is pitch black in places, but other wise lame.

The Jetstreams. Which only me and Dad and Ray went on. So much adrenaline! Its and almost verticle drop! Argh! But oh its good!

Mammoth Falls. One of the two rides scardy cat Kez went on. :-)

The Green Slides. The other ride Kez went on. Just like the tassie waterslides except longer.

Sea World

The dolphin show. Absolutely amazing! So good we went twice :-)

Rides. This was coming out a massive water slide ghost train thing. I don't know how Dad got that shot, but its good!

Our first rollercoaster! With a loop the loop and all! Can you find us? (Me Ray Mum and Dad)

Elmo! At Seasame St Beach - the Sea World kid's park.

You gotta love merry-go-rounds!

Relax Day

Tennis. Which I'm better at than everyone but Dad :-)

Swimming

Brisbane

Story Bridge
ScienceCentre
Our Alice in Wonderland experience. First we were tiny...

Then we were giants!

Movie World

Lol! This sign was on the road on the way to Movie World :-) No Joke! I just had to get a photo

Now THIS is a good rollercoaster. The Superman Escape - the best rollercoaster in the southern hemisphere. And not under rated. You accellerate from 0-100 in two seconds, experience a g-force of possitive 4.2 and negative 1. And we went on it so many times! We even managed to get Mum on it! But not the twins :-(

Wild West Falls. Again, no Kez. She was our official theme park photographer.

Hollywood Stunt Drivers. The best car show EVA! And I'm not even into cars! It was absolutely amazing! And the special effects! Unbelievable.

The Batwing. A VERY high poll, which you shoot to the top of and then come back to the base. Serious loss of stomache :-) Beck came on this one too!

Tangalooma - Brisbane's Island Resort

We went over to pretend we were rich for the day :-) Its on Morton Island, wich is the world's third largest sand Island. Its 98% sand! That's my kinda place!

Sand Tobbogganing. You fly down the sadn on your belly - like a penguin on the ice.

Me!

Volleyball. Which fails even more than Tennis :-)

And before we left, we hand fed some wild dolphins.

Australia Zoo

Mum feeding an elephant.

Otters! I want one!

Red Panda. Almost as good!

Tigers!

Nathan's

Keziah feeding the calf :-)

Great Barrior Reef

About to head out snorkelling from the Fantasea reef pontoon.

Parrot fish! (We borrowed an underwater camera from Dad's work)

Butterfly fish

Snorkelling on the reef

And here we are!

Airlie Beach

I felt the need to ware all my new clothes at once - both the beanie and the sorong :-)

Parrot feeding at our Holiday Park

Ok guys. This is Airlie Lagoon. Airlie Beach's waterfront pool. Its beautiful - and a perfect place to play withthe underwater camera :-)

I took that one!

There it is - Airlie Lagoon. We came here every day we spent around Airlie Beach. We just coudn't stay away!

Our Boat Day

We hired a boat to tour round the Whitsunday Islands ourselves. Snorkelling and fishinf and doing whatever else we felt like. That's Dad.

Our reef we found that was so much better than where we were on the Great Barrior.

Whitehaven Beach. One word - beautiful.

Us on Whitehaven Beach.

Kez getting back to the boat from Whitehaven Beach without getting herself (or my sorong) wet

Swimming off the boat.

Fun!

Shute Harbour

We explored, went for a bit of a bushwalk and found this vine swing! :-)

Mackay

Kez found her soul mate. :-)
We only stopped here for lunch on our way to Townsville.

Townsville

Main Purpose: See Matthew and Liz.

Townsville from the lookout. Me and Mum and Matthew in the corner.

The Strand's waterfront pool! Very dissapointinf after Airlie Lagoon, though. The water wasn't anywhere near as beautiful and clear.

A big red rope thing along the Strand :-)

And finally - The Fountain Park.

I hope you've enjoyed our Queensland Holiday - I certainly did! :-)

  2. I remember doing almost all of that a few years back. We didnt go to Wet n Wild, but we did pretty much everything else. Favourite part was probably feeding the dolphins at Tangalooma.

    Thanks for the photos :)
